You must have good language skills, enjoy dealing with customers, and have a solid understanding of business economics to work successfully in commerce.
Our further education course provides qualified workers who acquired their training in non-German speaking areas, a solid introduction to the typical challenges of the German job market.
Our students are prepared in basic theory and also receive practical training in various aspects of commerce. This ranges from the fundamentals of customer communication, through basic computer skills, to office planning and organization.
Beyond its comprehensive professional content, this further education will help you acquire essential occupational language skills in German. Your comprehension of the spoken word and written texts will be improved and optimized through occupationally relevant, practical exercise. Professional verbal and written communication is an integral part of the course.



Admission Requirements

This course is aimed at participants with training qualification or practical experience in the areas of marketing and sales.

    Communication techniques, MS-Word for correspondence and e-messaging

  • Commercial mathematics
    Basics of spreadsheet calculation, pricing, rule of three, European Computer Driving License (ECDL)

  • Merchandise purchasing, inventory economics I
    Inventory and information flow, logistics, warehousing, master data

  • Merchandise purchasing, inventory economics II
    Key inventory data, procurement planning, cost of sales, cost-effectiveness

  • Basics of marketing and sales I
    Labor market, types of businesses, employee rights, commercial law, branches

  • Basics of marketing and sales II
    Assortment, communication, demand assessment, pricing, service, employee protection

  • Cashier systems and cash register certification I
    Cashier systems, merchandise economy, function, booking, foreign currency, protection of minors

  • Cashier systems and cash register certification II
    Access restrictions, cashier reports, cash transport, data backup, project

Our further education course contians 1280 hours.

cimdata has been providing a palette of further education services in Berlin and Brandenburg since 1983. With employment opportunities and the vocational needs of our students in mind, we offer a variety of courses and seminars focused on job preparation, retraining and specialized career qualifications.
Our further education courses are conducted entirely in a traditional, face-to-face classroom setting. You will be taught theory and practice by our experienced instructors in full day sessions. As a rule, 16 to 18 students are enrolled in each module. Classes are held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. It is possible for begin a course module every four weeks. Seminars last eight months. Teaching materials are included in the price of the module.

Our career service provides intensive, up-todate communication and job application training parallel to the course. Working together, we will develop a personal employment strategy with you. We support your employment effort until you begin work. There is no charge for this service.

Students who meet the individual entrance requirements are eligible for German SGB II
and SGB III financial assistance. In an individual counseling session, we will inform you about the study program that is individually tailored exactly to your educational needs.
